During May of this year, SHSL members Brian Pugh and Paul Spiring travelled to Dartmoor to meet their fellow Sydney Passenger, the actor Edward Hardwicke.  Edward is of course best known for his portrayal as Dr. Watson alongside Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes (1986-1994).  The highlight of the visit was a trip to Princetown where the actor posed for pictures with Brian, Paul and staff from The High Moorland Visitor Center.  This museum was formerly the Duchy Hotel where Arthur Conan Doyle and Bertram Fletcher stayed whilst conducting research for the Houn (May/June 1901).  Dr. Watson remarked that it was 'capital' to return to the scene of 'the supreme adventure'!!!
